July 21, 2018 North Chatham, NY Humane Society Benefit

Jul 22 | Posted by: Admin |

On July 21, 2018, Sawyer and his band took the stage under the tent at Waldorf Farms in North Chatham, NY.  Waldorf Thoroughbred Farms, hosted the Columbia-Greene County Humane Society Paws Picnic fundraiser.

Sawyer and his band; Art Fredericks, Bass Guitar, Chris Thomas, Drums and Jerome Goosman, Guitar, perform Sawyer's newest original song Turning the Shoulder.

Sawyer started the Concert with his full band and after a few songs the band left the stage for Sawyer to perform a solo set after which the band returned to the stage for a few more songs. During Sawyer's solo set he considers requests from the crowd, someone from the audience requested he sing a song he had performed busking on the streets of Saratoga Springs, NY.  After a few moments Sawyer decided to perform Why So Blue, a song he has not performed in about 4 years.

The original recording of Why So Blue, from August 13, 2012.
