Apr 22 | Posted by: Admin

Just Announced! Sawyer is re-releasing the single of his original song Should’ve Known Better on April 26, 2019, along with a New Official Video for Should’ve Known Better.

Sawyer’s independently produced Hide Your Ghost Album was initially released via the crowd funding platform Pledge Music, which also set him up with a publicist to handle the press and promo of the release. Pledge was going through some major issues at the time which have now been well publicized, and while Sawyer was fortunate to have received all the generous donations, unfortunately the album did not get the publicity it needed at the time of its release.

So, in anticipation of brand New Music being released later this year, we are working on bringing attention to Hide You Ghost and Should’ve Known Better on streaming platforms. Right now, having songs added to independent and curated playlists is one of the best ways to reach new listeners. And for this we need your help!

The Lyrics.

Should’ve Known Better

It hurts to see you down

I ain’t seen you smile in a while

I know that you never could leave me

But I know that you ain’t happy

Chorus:

And my heart’s beating loud and loves only you

And nothing is ever gonna change how I feel

And I know that you don’t love me, you never will

And I know I shouldn’t be sorry, but I am

No, I should’ve known better not to want

I should’ve known better not to love

‘Cause you’d have done better than me

I should’ve known better not to say…

~ ~ ~

Walk in the room, tears in your eyes

Saying Darling, I’m tired of these lies

And you crash at my feet, and the walls seem to shake

And I see the pain I’ve caused you

When you tell me, these things I already knew

I should’ve known better not to want

~ ~ ~

Chorus
